Our Learning is play-based and is woven through different aspects of our day. We have a planned Adult-Led activity, which takes place twice a day and links to our current curriculum aims. We link all our outcomes to the EYFS 7 Areas of learning.

Our curriculum changes regularly to meet the needs of our cohort. We assess all our children early on using Stoke Speaks Out assessment tool, which we then use alongside the EYFS, to inform our Curriculum Planning. We do this to ensure we know our children well and aim to meet their individual needs. Alongside this, we run intervention programmes, Time to Talk and Talk Boost, for any children who may need additional support. These are completed in small groups and are simple activities, which aim to help children to develop their language skills.

Our Continuous Provision is planned alongside these curriculum goals, to ensure our environment supports the children’s learning too.
